Julie has been our friend and neighbor for many years and has taken care of our kitties on numerous occasions. Always on time and dependable she checks in by cell phone when we travel, handles the mail and papers and leaves a note to let us know of any unusual kitty behavior. Should an emergency arise with the house or pets she would be capable of handling it with expediency. We highly recommend her services. You will be pleased.

I’ve used Julie’s Pups & Purrs Pet Care a couple of times now and I couldn’t be happier with her services. She’s very professional; always calls back before I leave to confirm the dates; leaves me a ‘welcome home’ message about how my boys behaved and requests a return call from me to ensure that the boys won’t be at home unattended if I’m delayed in getting back. Overall, she’s just a thorough, professional pet sitter who loves and cares about my Maxx, Milo & Levi.

We have used Pups and Purrs Pet Care for the last six months for daily visits and walks for our Jack Russell Terrier, Darby, when I am out of town for work. Julie is a very caring and reliable pet sitter and our dog Darby likes her very much. From the first moment she connected with Darby we felt very comfortable with her. Julie's professionalism allowed us to trust with confidence that she would take care of our pet. We would not hesitate to recommend her services.

Ms. Julie has taken care of the Top Gun Crew – Maverick (boxer boy), Goose (boxer boy), and Charlie (english bulldog girl) quite a few times when we have gone out of town. The very first visit with Julie I knew that she would be wonderful with our dogs. Each time we have gone down to our property, which is 6 hours away from home, she has stopped by the house at least 3 times daily, played with them, fed them, taken care of soiled blankets and so on. I always find an update on the kitchen table letting us know what happened and how the dogs acted while we were away. I fully trust her in our home and with our babies, and I feel like they love her and really do miss her when we get home.

Several months ago, I started a new job and moved to Irving from Houston with my three cats. Not only was I moving my household from Houston, but I was scheduled for two week-long business trips. I needed a reliable, cat-loving pet sitter FAST!
I called a very large pet sitting firm first, but they didn’t answer when I left them two messages. As it turned out, that was the very best thing that happened to me and my cats.
I called Pups & Purrs Pet Care which is owned by Julie Bragg. Not only did I get a callback soon, but she established an immediate friendly relationship with my three cats, Baby, Brett, and Daphne. Julie asks all the important questions about the personalities of the cats, what they eat, any medications that need to be provided, and my preferences in vets.
The first visit was highly successful and I engaged Julie to take care of my “furry kids” on the two week-long business trips I planned. One visit had to be lengthened by a day and I had left just enough food for the original number of days I would be gone. Julie not only purchased additional food but made sure there was enough litter as well. She took care of all this even before I called her to tell her I would need to stay an additional day! While I was unorganized, Julie just took care of what was necessary.
Julie really goes the extra mile. She researched the two vets for me that had been recommended by our Houston vet and she’s really engaged the kitties well. When she shows up, the cats all come out to see her!
Unfortunately, I’ve leased a house outside of Julie’s service area, but I am making plans to buy a house where she can resume taking care of my “furry kids”. We will all miss Julie!

 Julie began caring for our 2 Golden Retrievers, Holly and Buck last fall (2011). We had just moved to Texas from Virginia and I was very concerned about finding the perfect person to watch my canine children, Holly and Buck, when we traveled. We were lucky enough to find Julie. Julie's services enable us to keep Buck and Holly at home when my husband and I are out of town. I looked at many other care options (boarding facilities, daycare etc..) and I really didn't want to disrupt the comfort and routine for Bucky and Holly being at home. Additionally, Holly is a 10 year old Golden that has needs of an aging dog and going to a boarding facility would just create more stress for her. I know that if either of the dogs need emergency care while we're out of town, Julie will make sure that it happens.
 Julie provides a very organized structured visit schedule to accomodate all of their needs (loves, play, walking, medications, feeding, etc). She always communicates with me on schedules, issues that might arise during her care period, their current vet care and any new issues that might require an revision in her care regime and provides a follow up summary post care. The care Julie puts into her clients (humans and non- humans) is exceptional. We are lucky to have found Julie!

Rick and I would like to thank you so much for 
taking such good care of our fur babies. Its so scary now a days of not knowing who you can trust into your home and with your pets. Its very important to me to know that I can intrust them into your care and not have to worry about their well being while we are gone that is such a piece of mind and comfort to me. When I first met you I felt very 
comfortable with you you were very thorough in explaining to everything you would do when you would take care of the babies and when we would return home the babies are so calm and 
everything would be inorder. Rick and I appreciate you so much and we look forward to you taking care of our fur babies again real soon.
